Ho 报告人单位：KIAA, Peking University 报告语言： 英文 报告时间： 2022年8月29日（星期一）上午10:30-12:00 报告地点： 1号楼502会议室 报告摘要： ～～～～～～～～～～～～～～～～～～～～～～～～～～～～～～～～～～～～～ Intermediate-mass black holes, with masses ranging from ~100 to a million times the mass of the Sun, are important for understanding the birth of quasars, the contribution of black hole accretion to the epoch of cosmic reionization, the coevolution between AGNs and galaxies, and detection of nano-Hertz gravitational waves. I will review current knowledge of intermediate-mass black holes based on multiwavelength searches over the past 20 years. The occupation fraction of intermediate-mass black holes appears to be substantial in low-mass, late-type galaxies.
